Juventus set to challenge Napoli in race for £25m Man United winger - Manchester United News
Juventus have scheduled talks with Manchester United over a deal for Jadon Sancho according to Sky Sports. The clubs will hold a video call as Juventus attempt to beat Serie A rivals Napoli to the player’s signature.
Sancho’s future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with the player having spent last season on loan at Chelsea. The Blues opted against signing him permanently and paid a £5m penalty to get out of their obligation to buy him for £25m.
£25m remains the evaluation for Sancho, with United preferring a permanent transfer this summer rather than another loan. Sancho has one year left on his United deal, which includes the option of a further 12 months.

Sancho joined United in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund with a huge billing and huge transfer fee to match. The then 21 year old was signed for £73m after impressive displays in the Bundesliga.
He scored 38 goals in 104 appearances in his four seasons in Germany. His United career has been marked with inconsistency though, and the player finds himself surplus to requirements.
Juventus interested in Sancho
Sancho’s best glimpses as a United player arguably came during his two loan stints. A short return to Dortmund for the second half of the 2023/24 season saw him score two goals and provide two assists in 14 Bundesliga appearances.
Last season’s loan to Chelsea saw him score three Premier League goals in 31 appearances. He also helped the club win the UEFA Conference League, coming on a second half substitute and scoring a goal as the Blues defeated Real Betis 4-1 in the final.
His playing time at United has been stop start however, especially under Ruben Amorim. He’s played just three times for Amorim and is now one of several star names linked with an exit from the club.
Napoli are reportedly keen on Sancho as well, and last week held discussions with the player’s representatives over personal terms. It now appears their Serie A rivals Juventus are attempting to pip them to the player’s services.
Sancho is joined by Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho on the list of high profile United forwards made available for transfer this summer.
United have already begun to rebuild their forward line by signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves and bidding more than £60m for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
