Sunderland start talks for Manchester United target Marcin Bulka
One intriguing name emerged last week as reports suggested United are interested in signing Marcin Bulka from OGC Nice.
The Polish stopper joined Chelsea as a youngster but has now blossomed into a quality goalkeeper with Nice.
Bulka is out of contract in a year and could move on this summer, with United considering him as competition for Onana.

Fabrizio Romano now reports that Bulka could be heading to England – but not with United.
It’s stated that newly-promoted Sunderland have opened talks to sign Bulka ahead of their Premier League return.
Bulka is understood to have been approached by several clubs, but it’s Sunderland who are now in ‘active talks’ to sign the stopper.
Boss Regis Le Bris will be well aware of Bulka’s quality from his time managing in France and the Black Cats are now looking to seal an ambitious move.

Confusion surrounds United interest in Bulka
United will be watching developments from afar, but confusion surrounds whether Bulka would actually be allowed to make a move to Old Trafford anyway.
UEFA put a block on United striking deals with Nice last summer, due to both clubs being under the Ineos umbrella.
That ban runs until September 2025, according to UEFA’s official website.
The decision was driven by the fact that both United and Nice were in the Europa League together last season, and UEFA wanted to avoid any collusion or conflict of interest.
United are not in Europe this season, though, and that may spark some hope of deals being allowed.
It was a similar story for Manchester City and Girona, as they competed in the Champions League together last term.
City intend to loan Sverre Nypan to Girona this summer, so there may be some scope for United to ask for permission to sign Bulka, given there will be no potential European conflict this season.
That is something to watch for, but United may well see Bulka visiting Old Trafford as a Sunderland player on 4 October.
