Arsenal are considering a surprise summer move for Chelsea forward Noni Madueke, according to The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney.
The Gunners have reportedly held exploratory talks with Chelsea over a potential swoop for the England international, who is facing tough competition for places at Stamford Bridge next season.
The arrival of Palmeiras starlet Estevao Willian is likely to push Madueke down Enzo Maresca’s pecking order, and there is a possibility he could leave Chelsea in the coming weeks.
The Blues are said to be demanding £50m for the former PSV winger – a fee Arsenal are reportedly reluctant to meet at this stage.

According to Delaney, Arsenal could revisit a deal for Madueke later in the summer, as they continue to explore multiple forward options amid the stalling of their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko.
A deal to sign the RB Leipzig striker is believed to be on hold, with a €10m gap in valuation still remaining, as Arsenal are unwilling to pay his €80m (£68m) release clause.
Instead, the Gunners are said to prefer a deal worth around €70m (£59m) in instalments, which Leipzig have so far been unwilling to accept.
Madueke, who joined Chelsea from PSV in January 2023, signed a long-term contract upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge, which runs until June 2030.
The 'incredible' 23-year-old made 27 Premier League starts for the Blues last term, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. His last top-flight goal came on 25 January, in a 3–1 loss to Manchester City.
