After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years, it seems that the New York Knicks aren't satisfied. New York wants to bring home a title, and the front office is expected to be very busy this summer.
The Knicks have a few pieces on the roster who could be used in trade packages to help build out the roster more. One of New York's biggest problems this past season was a lack of depth, so the team will likely look to address that fact.
But according to Frank Isola of ESPN, the Knicks could be looking to move on from star forward Mikal Bridges and center Mitchell Robinson. Both players are reportedly being discussed in different trade deals.
Bridges is eligible to sign an extension this offseason with the Knicks, but New York may not be willing to make it happen. Despite giving up a lot to land him last season from the Brooklyn Nets, Bridges didn't have a great first year with the Knicks.
If New York isn't willing to pay him what it takes, moving him now could be the answer. There will be multiple teams who will look to land the forward, and New York could recoup some assets on the trade market.

Bridges is a good player, but his fit alongside Jalen Brunson was weirdly strange. Despite the two being college teammates, things never fully gelled throughout the season.
Maybe another year of playing together could be good, but New York may not let that happen. If it can get a nice offer for Bridges, his time in New York could be cut short.
