WWE 2K25 has released the Dunk & Destruction Pack, the second of five planned DLC packs planned for this year's entry in the wrestling game franchise, including its three NBA guest stars. Players in WWE 2K25 will now be able to take to the ring as four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal and two popular stars of today in point guards Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers.
The launch of Dunk & Destruction follows the release of WWE 2K25's New Wave Pack DLC, which came out in the middle of May. That pack introduced SmackDown superstar Giulia and the tag team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns, who famously won the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2024 shortly following their debut with the company. However, the biggest draw has been Stephanie Vaquer, who has become one of the fastest-rising stars on the main roster.

This new DLC pack doesn't have any of the fresh WWE talent that the last installment was filled with, but it does introduce five new playable characters. The three NBA stars' identities were initially kept under tight wraps, but WWE 2K25 announced it was adding Haliburton in late May via its social media channels, and Shaq was similarly confirmed as a DLC wrestler just over a week ago. Joining the three basketball players will be former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali and retired two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion Abyss, who currently works for WWE as a producer. The DLC can be purchased for $9.99, but players who have purchased the Season Pass, which is included in the game's Bloodline and Deadman Editions, can download it now for no additional cost.

In addition to the five new playable characters, there are other bonuses available to players. Anyone downloading the DLC will receive WWE 2K25 MyFaction cards for playing as each of the new characters in the team management-based game mode. Bloodline Edition buyers can also now access both day and night versions of the WrestleMania 41 arena, and all players can now access the Season 3 content in The Island game mode and play in the new Crown Jewel arena.
Meanwhile, players are still awaiting the release of the fifth wrestler they were promised in May's New Wave Pack. While players in the wrestling game community have fallen in love with using Vaquer's Devil's Kiss move, the "special celebrity guest" who was supposed to have been added to the game's roster on May 14 is still missing and hasn't even been announced yet. The game's social media channels had promised at the New Wave Pack's release that the character would be revealed "in the coming weeks," but those weeks now number six, with no updates just yet.
