Multiple teams trying to trade their top-10 pick for Jaylen Brown and another Boston Celtics…

The Boston Celtics have conducted a pair of big trades in the past few days, parting with former All-Stars Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis. Though, the Celtics may not be done yet, with even Jaylen Brown starting to have his name included in the latest group of NBA trade rumors.

Yet, the 2023-24 NBA Finals MVP isn’t the only Celtics player who’s been generating a heavy amount of trade interest ahead of tonight’s NBA Draft.

According to ESPN’s NBA insider Brian Windhorst, several teams have been calling the Celtics to offer a top-10 selection in the 2025 NBA Draft in exchange for Brown and/or Derrick White.

Earlier, Windhorst’s ESPN colleague Shams Charania reported that there had been an increased number of trade offers coming in for Brown over the past day or two. Perhaps the Celtics’ trade activity over the past few days has spurred a bit of extra action, but there’s been no indication that Boston is ready to trade Jayson Tatum’s running mate.

Whether the Celtics have a great amount of interest in landing a top-10 pick in this year’s draft remains to be seen. It’s possible there’s a specific prospect they have their eye on, but if that’s the case, Boston may have to wait until they know which players are still on the clock before striking a deal.
