3-Team Trade Idea Lands Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey With Bears

In a dramatic three-team blockbuster trade envisioned by Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski, cornerback Jalen Ramsey lands with the Chicago Bears, while the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns each gain valuable assets.

The deal would send Ramsey from the Dolphins to the Bears, cornerback Greg Newsome II from the Browns to the Dolphins and offensive tackle Braxton Jones from the Bears to the Browns.

Miami has been working with Ramsey on a trade for months now, and ESPN's Adam Schefter is expecting one to get done before NFL training camp begins. Sobleski believes an uncommon three-team trade may be one of the best options to do so.

"The Chicago Bears have been one of the teams mentioned in a potential Jalen Ramsey trade. If they are serious, something creative may be needed to get a deal done," Sobleski said.

Sobleski notes that the trade would make sense for the Bears, pairing Ramsey alongside Jaylon Johnson to bolster a secondary that is already expected to be improved. Meanwhile, the Browns would shore up their offensive line with Jones, and Miami moves on with a younger corner in Newsome II, who fills a need that exists because of Ramsey's departure.

Sobleski praised the Bears' general manager Ryan Poles' offseason moves, like stealing Ben Johnson from the Detroit Lions to be the team's new head coach, to make the franchise more competitive.

"Poles has done an excellent job addressing need areas this offseason," Poles said. "Chicago can finally get serious about being competitive, and the acquisition of Ramsey would further cement the squad's up-and-coming status.

Although has reportedly preferred a team on the West Coast, with the Dolphins actively seeking a trade and rival defenses watching closely, this creative proposal provides plenty of offseason intrigue.
