2 Teams Are Reportedly Looking To Trade Into Top-5 Of NBA Draft

With the NBA draft beginning on Wednesday night, a number of teams are weighing their options and putting together game plans that may help them have better luck.

Two teams are apparently trying to climb higher in the draft order.

According to Evan Sidery, the Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards are “two teams to monitor for potential small trade-ups within the top-five.”

“Both the Sixers and Hornets appear open to trading back, which opens the door if Utah or Washington covet a certain prospect,” Sidery wrote.

The Jazz are the fifth pick in the draft, and the Wizards are right behind them in sixth place.

If they are able to get these deals done, they probably wouldn’t move up much, but they could make small changes, especially if the Philadelphia 76ers and Charlotte Hornets really are willing to give their picks away.

What do the Jazz and Wizards have in mind, and what are they attempting to do?

Are they trying to land one of the young rookies in the lineup, or are they attempting to get better picks so they can trade them for win-now talent?

The Wizards have been busy over the last day, but the Jazz have been very silent.

However, there have been many rumors of both teams doing a lot more in the hours and days ahead.

Is this the start of a very impactful and consequential period for these two teams?

The draft always has a few surprises, and sometimes they happen at the last minute.

People are paying close attention to the Jazz and Wizards to see what they do next.
