Cristiano Ronaldo has had an incredible career in football, and it’s not set to end just yet.

Following his rise through the Sporting CP academy, Ronaldo’s enjoyed stints with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and now Al-Nassr.

Throughout his 23 year long professional career, the attacker has registered an impressive 1275 appearances, scoring 932 goals and grabbing 288 assists for club and country.

However, despite winning league titles and domestic cups wherever he’s played, he’s yet to lift any team silverware in Saudi Arabia.

In his two and a half years with Al-Nassr, Ronaldo is yet to lift a trophy, sparking rumours of the club’s captain looking for a new venture this summer.

Links with rival Saudi side Al-Hilal began surfacing, however were shut down by Al-Hilal’s chief executive Esteve Calzada, saying: “As much as I respect Ronaldo as a huge player… it’s certainly completely counter-intuitive that you bring the biggest player of your biggest opponent to play with you.”

Now, Fabrizio Romano has now reported that the five time Ballon d’Or winner is set to stay in the Saudi Pro League.

Romano has reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is set to sign a new contract with Al-Nassr which could see him remain with the club until 2027 however it’s not yet been agreed if the contract would be a one of two year deal.

This will be a massive boost for the Saudi side who recently parted ways with manager Stefano Pioli after just under a year in the role.
