The Golden State Warriors are expected to be very active this offseason as they try to go after another NBA title. Golden State still believes that it can win with star guard Stephen Curry as the lead player.
Curry is still capable of incredible moments in the NBA, and he is determined to win another title before he retires. But the roster needs more around him, and Golden State should be major players this offseason.
Last season, Curry averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game for Golden State. Curry helped the Warriors reach the postseason, but his year was cut short due to an unfortunate injury in the playoffs.
With the 2025 NBA draft starting tonight, Curry had a message to everyone. The veteran guard took to social media to reflect on his career before all the prospects get selected.
"16 years in the league. Grateful for every moment. From being underrated to receiving accolades beyond my wildest dreams. To the next generation hearing their name called tonight: trust the journey. What feels uncertain now might be setting you up for something greater," Curry wrote.
Seeing this from Curry must be special for all the prospects entering the NBA. Curry is one of the greatest players to ever step foot on a court, and he has completely changed how the game of basketball is played today.

All the prospects that will get selected in the NBA draft will likely be facing off against Curry at some point. The Warriors star is expected to play a few more seasons in the league, so it could be a full-circle moment for some of them.
