Titans Make Exciting Training Camp Announcement on Wednesday

New general manager Mike Borgonzi made a handful of major changes for the Tennessee Titans this offseason. Not only did he bring in quarterback Cam Ward with the first pick in the draft, but he reconstructed the Titans' roster, top to bottom.

Out were players like wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and linebacker Kenneth Murray, and in were established veterans like Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson and Cody Barton to take their place.

Dre'Mont Jones also joined the defensive line room this offseason, and the Titans chose not to re-sign experienced safety Quandre Diggs. While Borgonzi did spend big on Barton and former Steelers offensive tackle Dan Moore Jr., he also made the team younger at several key positions.

There was plenty of excitement about the new-look team throughout the offseason program, and now training camp is just under one month away. With practices slated to begin on July 22, the Titans made an exciting announcement on Wednesday.

According to Jim Wyatt of Titans.com, fans will be allowed at seven of the team's training camp workouts, including one hosted at Nissan Stadium on July 26.

This will allow Titans fans their first chance to see Ward, as well as the rest of the newcomers. The rookie class also brought in edge rusher Olawufemi Oladejo, wide receivers Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike, tight end Gunnar Helm and running back Kalel Mullings.

The Titans have limited tickets available for these events, and they will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tennessee will open its season in Week 1 on the road against the Denver Broncos, who finished 10-7 last season and made the playoffs. This will be a good barometer of where the remodeled Titans stand early in the season.
