€28 million clause: Details of Barcelona star’s exit revealed

An insight into the financial terms of the agreement set to take Barcelona star Ansu Fati to France with AS Monaco has this week been provided.

This comes amid confirmation that the 22-year-old’s move will feature both a purchase clause, and a buyback clause.

Wide-man Ansu has of course taken his place front and centre in the media headlines surrounding Barcelona across the week to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Spaniard’s long-awaited Camp Nou departure is finally on the verge of completion.

As per transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Ansu is primed to join Monaco on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.

And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, a more in-depth insight into the terms of the deal has followed.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, citing Onze Mondial, who have revealed that Monaco will have the option to make Ansu’s signing permanent next summer for a fee in the region of €11 million.

In the case of as much being activated, though, Barcelona would maintain a buyback clause, set at €28 million.
