Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is once again being linked with a move to Juventus, with the Turin giants again said to be keen on the Uruguay international.
The rumor mill got excited about Araujo and Juve in the winter, but in the end the defender decided to stay and signed a new contract until 2031.
Yet Araujo also asked for his release clause to be lowered which meant that speculation about his future was always likely to return in the summer.
It’s now coming courtesy of Diario Sport and news that Juventus manager Igor Tudor is really keen to bring in Araujo.
The report says the Turin giants “would be willing to offer between €25 and €30 million for his signing” this summer.
Deco has admitted recently that Barcelona need to offload a center-back this summer, with Araujo and Andreas Christensen appearing to be the most likely to leave.
Yet it’s difficult to see Barcelona accepting a bid of €25m-€30m for Araujo. His release clause is said to be around €65m in July which seems more like the kind of figure the Catalans want.
