Cooper Flagg Reveals New Partnership Ahead of NBA Draft

Just hours before the NBA Draft tipped off, all eyes were on Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg.

The 18-year-old forward had already cemented himself as the consensus No. 1 pick, but this news wasn’t about where he’ll land; it was about what he’s wearing.

In a post shared on his official Instagram, Flagg unveiled a new partnership with German fashion house BOSS, captioning his announcement, "Big moves—bold style. Meet #CooperFlagg, our newest U.S. brand ambassador, ready to dominate the court while repping the next generation of game-changers at tonight’s Draft #BeYourOwnBOSS."

The new deal with BOSS further cements Flagg’s brand appeal, having already notched several major partnerships.

He signed a landmark shoe deal with New Balance before his freshman season and made history as the first men’s college basketball player sponsored by Gatorade.

On the hardwood, Flagg’s 2024-25 campaign at Duke was nothing short of historic.

The Newport, Maine, native led the Blue Devils to the NCAA Final Four, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game in 37 starts.

His trophy case now boasts virtually every major national honor: Naismith College Player of the Year, Wooden Award, Lute Olson Award, Julius Erving Award and Wayman Tisdale Award.

In the ACC, he swept Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, First-Team All-ACC and All-Defensive Team honors.

In high school, he was a McDonald’s All-American, Gatorade National Player of the Year, Mr. Basketball USA and a USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year after dominating the Under-17 World Cup.

Before the draft was even underway, the stage was perfectly set for the NBA's biggest new star to take the league by storm.
