BROOKLYN, NY. (WBTV) - The Charlotte Hornets have selected Duke freshman star and phenom Kon Knueppel No. 4 overall.
Knueppel along with Cooper Flagg led the Duke Blue Devils to the Final Four.
The freshman from Wisconsin averaged 14.4 points per game for the Blue Devils. While shooting 40.6% from behind the arc and shot 48% from the field.
Knueppel was a Second-Team All-ACC selection and was also named the ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Knueppel was the second Duke player selected in the top-4 joining [Flagg who went No. 1 overall](https://www.wbtv.com/2025/06/26/flagg-captured-duke-superstar-chosen-with-no-1-pick-2025-nba-draft/) to the Dallas Mavericks.
