To the surprise of nobody, the Dallas Mavericks selected Cooper Flagg with the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Duke phenom has been a highly touted prospect for over a year, and you can already buy his NBA jersey on Fanatics.
Multiple editions of Flagg’s jersey went up for sale immediately following the Mavericks’ draft selection. The Blue Nike jersey is priced at $119.99 and fans can get FREE shipping with the code 29SHIP, and the jersey will ship within two business days.
Along with the Nike Icon jersey, there’s replica jerseys in blue, white and navy, all of which sell for $79.99. For the younger fans, there’s also a youth blue replica Cooper Flagg jersey selling for $59.99.
You can also buy the Mavericks draft hat that Flagg wore when he walked across the stage Wednesday night.
Dallas finished the season 39-43, making the Western Conference Play-In. It lost against the Sacramento Kings, which gave them a 1.8% chance of winning the NBA Lottery. The ping pong balls bounced the right way, and the Mavericks landed another generational talent just months after trading away Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Flagg lived up to the hype in his lone season with Duke. The Wooden Award winner (best player in college basketball) averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks as an 18 year old. He doesn’t turn 19 until December, and is now the second-youngest first overall pick in NBA history, only behind LeBron James in 2003.
Flagg led the Blue Devils to their first Final Four under coach Jon Scheyer. The 6-foot-9, 205-pound forward doesn’t have a true weakness to his game. He was college basketball’s best defensive player and a capable shot creator and playmaker on the offensive end. His most impressive trait might be his energy and effort level, which separates him from most basketball stars.
