BROOKLYN, N.Y., (WLOX) - On Wednesday, the New Orleans selected Oklahoma guard Jeremiah Fears with their first pick of the 2025 NBA Draft.
During his time at Oklahoma, Fears averaged a team-high 17.1 points per game on a field goal percentage of 43.4%. He also earned 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game.

The 18-year-old played in all 34 of the Sooners’ contests throughout the season, starting 31 of them en route to earning 2025 SEC All-Freshman Team honors.
The Pelicans also hold the 23rd pick of the 1st round, which is currently their only remaining selection.
