The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie calls Murray-Boyles “quite polarizing for NBA teams.”
“Other teams see him as more of a guy who’s caught between positions and could struggle to make an impact unless the jumper ends up coming through, since he’s not a downhill, athletic force,” Vecenie writes.
During his final season at South Carolina, Murray-Boyles shot 58.6% from the field — leading the SEC — while averaging 16.8 points. However, he struggled from three-point range, shooting just 26.5%.
