The Utah Jazz have traded up to the 18th pick to select Walter Clayton Jr. in the 2025 NBA Draft.
According to ESPN, the Jazz traded the 21st pick and multiple second-round picks for the 18th pick:
During his senior season, Clayton Jr. averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game at Florida. Coming into the draft, Clayton Jr. was highly regarded shooter, connecting on 39% of his threes during his senior season. Clayton Jr. led the Florida Gators to a national championship and was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
Barring any extra moves, the Jazz have exhausted all of their first-round picks. Clayton Jr. joins Utah with fifth-pick Ace Bailey.
