BROOK PARK, Ohio (WOIO) - Brook Park Mayor Edward Orcutt released a statement thanking the Ohio General Assembly for approving $600 million in the state’s budget for funding for the new Cleveland Browns domed stadium.
The budget now goes to Governor DeWine’s desk for approval by June 30. He could veto it, but there are enough votes to override the veto.
The 2026-27 biennial budget, including the Unclaimed Funds plan, passed in the Senate with a 23-10 vote and in the House 59-39.
