Despite all of the pre-draft process antics, the Utah Jazz pulled the trigger and selected Rutgers forward Ace Bailey with the No. 5 overall pick.
As one of the bigger names in the class, social media naturally exploded with takes on Bailey’s landing spot.
Social Media Reacts To Jazz Selecting Ace Bailey
As expected, Cooper Flagg went to Dallas with the first pick, and the Spurs took Dylan Harper at No. 2.
Philadelphia opted to go with Baylor’s two-way star VJ Edgecombe with the third pick. At No. 4, Charlotte selected Duke sharpshooter Kon Knueppel.
That left Tre Johnson, Jeremiah Fears, and Bailey in the conversation for the Jazz.

Obviously all three still have huge question marks, but Ace Bailey, Cody Williams, and Taylor Hendricks are an intriguing trio of wings with exceptional size.
