ORLANDO, Fla. (WILX) - Former Michigan State guard Jase Richardson achieved his dream of making the NBA on Wednesday night when the Orlando Magic drafted Richardson with the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Richardson will be staying close to his home in Miami, Florida, now that he is set to go play in Orlando this upcoming season. Jase also gets to follow in his father Jason Richardson’s footsteps, who played with the Magic from 2010 to 2012.
Jase was joined by Tom Izzo and the rest of his family for the special moment.
