Bayern Munich are keen admirers of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, but they have not made any formal approach yet.
Premier League outfit Chelsea are leading the race to sign the 20-year-old winger and they are hoping to secure a deal for him shortly.
Dortmund have already rejected an offer from the Blues, but they are still in negotiations over a possible transfer. The German club are asking for a fee of around £55m (€65m) for him.

David Ornstein claimed earlier this week that Gittens prefers a move to Stamford Bridge. While they are still in talks, a seven-year contract is ready to be finalised once the deal is reached.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg previously claimed that Gittens remains high on Max Eberl’s transfer wish list. In fact, Vincent Kompany had given a green light for the transfer to go through back in January.
Plettenberg has now claimed that fresh negotiations have taken place between Dortmund and Chelsea in the last few hours, but there’s “still no agreement”.

The journalist further adds that despite strong interest from Bayern Munich, the German champions have not made any formal approach to him.
Christian Falk previously told CFBayern that the Bavarian club were not willing to match Dortmund’s price for Gittens.
Fresh hope for Bayern Munich in Jamie Gittens chase?
Bayern chiefs have admitted that they need to sign a quality left-winger this summer, but it remains unclear whether they are genuinely after Gittens.
As long as Chelsea are struggling to reach an agreement with Dortmund, Bayern will feel that they have a chance in pulling off the deal, if the interest is genuine.
Having said that, Bayern are looking after established stars who have been consistent performers over the years. Gittens has struggled with consistency last season, and Bayern may feel that Dortmund’s asking price is way too much.
