Idrissa Gueye may have already played his final game for Everton, as a replacement has been identified for David Moyes.
The Senegal international was a key player for the Scottish manager last season, but his contract is set to expire in the coming days.
Gueye’s extension at Bramley-Moore Dock has hit a stumbling block due to a disagreement over the length of a new deal.
Trabzonspor are targeting the ex-Paris Saint-Germain ace, and the Toffees may withdraw the fresh terms they’ve offered him soon.

If the Merseyside outfit do end up buying Onyedika, that could potentially mean the end of Gueye’s stint.
The Nigerian midfielder has shown a lot of potential during his time at Brugge, and if the Toffees are willing to spend a significant sum, that means he will undoubtedly be a key part of Moyes’ plans.
With Gueye turning 37 in September, it makes sense for the Blues to offer him a one-year contract extension, and if the Senegalese veteran doesn’t want to sign it, he should leave.
