If Leeds United are going to bring in all the players they need this summer, then Adam Underwood is going to have to strike some bargains as well as the expected big-money buys.
Leeds have made two signings so far, but the chances are, the clubwill make the best part of 10 signings throughout the summer. Lukas Nmecha has arrived on a free, while Jaka Bijol joins for a £15m figure.
That sees Leeds bring in competition up top for nothing, and solve the need for a centre-back largely on the cheap. However, Leeds need to do a whole lot more, and other freebies would be welcomed.
Leeds still need a goalkeeper, a left-back, and cover at full-back, a midfielder, a no.10, a left winger, and a starting striker. Well, an England international is now available on a free and could save Leeds money.

Kyle Walker-Peters confirms Southampton exit with touching post
England international Walker-Peters is out of contract at the end of the month. With Southampton going back to the Championship, the full-back was always expected to leave, and now it has been confirmed.
Southampton confirmed this month that Walker-Peters would leave on a free, and the player has now broken his silence over his future, with a touching message to those of a Saints persuasion on Instagram.
“He ended the long-winded message with: “It’s been a privilege to represent you. This club has shaped me, and I’ll forever be proud to have been a Saint. Thank you for everything. With love, KWP.”

Leeds not alone in Kyle Walker-Peters chase this summer
LeedsUnited.News have been told that contact has been made between Leeds and Walker-Peters or his entourage. However, a whole host of Premier League clubs are considering a move for the defender.
Everton, West Ham, and former club Tottenham are also considering moves to land Walker-Peters, who now has bags of Premier League experience and England caps to boot. A real steal then, on a free.
Thomas Frank is very interested in luring Walker-Peters back to Spurs, given he would be a homegrown player ahead of a Champions League campaign. But it could depend on game time for Walker-Peters.
