Man Utd will turn their attention to signing a striker after they complete a deal for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.

Manchester United might not have completed their second summer signing yet, but they might already know who their third could be. Ruben Amorim has prioritised attacking reinforcement this window as he looks to strengthen a side that managed to score just 44 times in the Premier League last season.

Matheus Cunha has already been signed from Wolves and United are close to an agreement for Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo. The duo managed 35 goals between them in the Premier League last season and might be enough to drastically improve the United attack, but Amorim is still eager to sign a striker as well.

Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike and Moise Kean are all among the names under consideration, though United could target a wildcard addition as they look to get value for money this summer. If that happens to be the case, Genk striker Tolu Arokodare could be an option and he is open to an Old Trafford move.

Tolu Arokodare open to Manchester United move

Manchester United have been linked with a possible move for Tolu Arokodare this summer as they consider a range of striker targets. The 24-year-old is viewed as an affordable option in attack after an impressive season with Belgian side Genk, where he scored 23 goals in 45 games last season.

It has been claimed United have previously scouted Arokodare and that he could be available for as little as €20 million this summer as he looks to make the next step in his career. AC Milan and Besiktas are two other clubs that have been linked with a potential move this window.

Arokodare would prefer a move to Old Trafford if given the choice though and talked up the possibility of a transfer when he revealed he is a United fan and has always dreamed of playing for the club.

“Obviously, it’s a dream to play in the Premier League, but I have my eyes on it for sure. Whatever options I have, I’ll take my time and make the best decision,” he told SportsBoom. “I’m a Manchester United fan, and if it happens, it would mean a lot to me and my family. Of course, it would be a dream come true."
