Juventus Moving In On United’s Sancho

Juventus are making serious progress in talks to sign Manchester United’s sidelined forward Jadon Sancho.

Seria A’s Juventus Step Up Talks for Sancho Switch

Juventus have made advances to sign Jadon Sancho as per reports. They look to bring the winger to Turin for the new season.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the Serie A club has set up an important video meeting on June 25 with Man Utd to learn the prospects of signing the 25-year-old.

Sancho was loaned to Chelsea last season. He is set to leave Stamford Bridge after failing to agree on personal terms for a permanent deal. His loan officially expires on June 30. The Blues could now face a reported £5 million penalty for the collapsed talks.

The winger’s future at Old Trafford has remained uncertain ever since his fallout with Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman left him out of the first team and forced his temporary exit.

Jadon Next Move Heats Up

Juve aren’t alone in the race, though. Turkish side Fenerbahce have already submitted a £15m offer. Head coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly spoken with Sancho directly. The main problem is that there are also other clubs interested. But, Sancho’s high wages have put many off buying him.

For the Red Devils, it would be good for their wage bill to sell him. However, they might have to sell him for less than the £73m they bought him for. Though, that will allow new head coach Ruben Amorim to start rebuilding the United side as well.

For Juventus, signing the Englishman is a risk worth taking. His recent situation at Old Trafford may have lowered his worth. But, he is still a talented player regardless.

With the summer transfer window now open, an agreement could happen soon. If today’s video call goes well, expect more movement from both camps in the days to follow.
