Nottingham Forest will look to complete some exciting transfer business during the summer window.
Next season, the Reds will play in the UEFA Conference League, and with that in mind, the club will need to ensure the squad is well stocked.
Nuno Espirito Santo will work tirelessly to ensure that quality is added to the ranks ahead of another big season for Forest.
Igor Jesus is set to join Forest after the Club World Cup, and more firepower will likely be required before a ball is kicked in August.
In order to do everything he wishes with the squad, Espirito Santo will have to let some players leave this summer.
Danilo could join Lyon, although their financial predicament, which has subsequently led to relegation, might throw a spanner in the works.
Things do seem to be heating up at the City Ground, and it appears that a squad player is nearing a departure.

Ramon Sosa set to leave Nottingham Forest
Sosa could be ending his one-season stay at Forest, with Palmeiras edging close to the signing of the Paraguayan performer, according to Versus.
MORE FOREST STORIES
It’s claimed that the Brazilian outfit are prepared to pay £10.2 million to take Sosa back to South America 12 months after leaving Talleres in Argentina to sign for Forest.
The move would see the Reds break even on the player who started just one Premier League match during the 2024/25 campaign.
Palmeiras wanted the deal done in time for Sosa to feature for them at the Club World Cup, but a deal couldn’t be struck in time.
The team face Botafogo in the last 16, and they will be bidding to keep the flag flying for the Brazilian top-flight in the United States.
Forest will need to replace Sosa this summer
Although Espirito Santo hasn’t really fancied Sosa making this the right decision, it will leave Forest short on the flanks.
Samuel Mbangula has been linked with Forest, and perhaps he’s a player who can be tied up in the near future once Sosa heads to Brazil.
The one thing Forest can’t afford next season is to be cursing a lack of options again, and more firepower is definitely required in the final third.
Given that Sosa is 25, the time does feel right to offload him permanently, and it’s quality business sense for Forest to accept this offer.
Now, the challenge is replacing Sosa with an upgrade, and Mbangula might be just the player to come in and provide that.
