The Xabi Alonso era is well and truly underway at Real Madrid, and the Merengues have already shown some signs of the new coach’s influence as they got their first win in the FIFA Club World Cup against Pachuca last Sunday.
Still, it will take some more time before the Spanish coach is able to drill his team according to his style, and the changes that he brings to Los Blancos will become more pronounced with every passing matchday.
