Fortunately for football fans in Michigan, the Lions fared incredibly well with games involving Detroit appearing eight times in the top 25.

The Lions’ schedule is among the most difficult in the NFL this season, but it’s a challenge that coach Dan Campbell is welcoming.

I’m not worried about the schedule. I think it’s perfect,” [Campbell said as he addressed the media for the first time during OTAs.](https://www.mlive.com/lions/2025/05/its-freaking-awesome-dan-campbell-excited-for-brutal-detroit-lions-2025-schedule.html) “I think it’s going to be what’s best for us with where we’re at going into 2025. My fifth year here, the core of this team’s fifth year, and I think it’s exactly what we’re going to need. The timing is perfect.”
