Ruben Amorim’s outgoing Man Utd star is‘very sure’his final prediction will come true for club,‘it’s going to be…’

A soon-to-be former first-team Manchester United player is confident that his Red Devils teammates will deliver on one pledge under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim has been working on the overhaul of his Manchester United first-team squad ahead of the start of the pre-season campaign this summer.

The Red Devils have already made one major summer signing earlier this month, with Manchester United capturing Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m fee.

United are expected to reinforce further ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils facing Arsenal in their opener.

The Red Devils have been linked with several other players this summer, including Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.

However, United are also tipped to have a summer clearout and the likes of Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford are all on the chopping block at the club.

Victor Lindelof has made his feelings clear on Man Utd under Ruben Amorim ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season

Victor Lindelof will make his exit from Old Trafford this summer after the Sweden and Manchester United defender’s contract with the club expires in June.

The 30-year-old Swedish centre-back will be a free agent from 1st July and Victor Lindelof’s eight-season run at United will now finally come to an end.

Lindelof sporadically featured under Ruben Amorim last season and the Sweden international only played in 25 matches for the Red Devils across all competitions.

Speaking to MUTV about his Old Trafford exit, Lindelof insisted that United’s 2025-26 campaign under Amorim will be a “little better” than the 2024-25 season.

“I’m leaving as a player, but I will always be a fan,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.

“I wish nothing but the best for the guys and everyone around the club. Yeah, hopefully next season will be a little better than this one.

“I’m very sure it’s going to be.”

Ruben Amorim and Man Utd must show major improvement for the 2025-26 Premier League season at Old Trafford

United suffered their worst finish in the Premier League era last season, with the Red Devils limping to 15th place on the final day of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Red Devils will have fewer matches in the 2025-26 season at Old Trafford after Amorim’s men failed to secure European football for the forthcoming campaign.

United’s Premier League form fell off a cliff last season under former Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag, who was sacked last October, and never really recovered.

Amorim had a tough start to life at Old Trafford after arriving during the 2024-25 campaign and United’s fixture list for next season also has a tricky run of matches.
