Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is expected to fly in for his medical to complete his move to Monaco this week.
The 32-year-old is set to sign a two-year contract to play for the Ligue One side, having been out of football for the best part of two years.
Pogba tested positive for DHEA, a drug that increases testosterone in your body, following Juventus’s opening game of the 2023/24 season against Udinese.

He was originally banned for four years but that was reduced to 18 months following an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The ruling confirmed that Pogba accidentally took DHEA, and while it is a banned substance, it can only affect the performance of female athletes.
What has Pogba been up to over the past couple of years?
The Frenchman parted ways with Juventus in December last year, with his contract being terminated by mutual consent.
Pogba became eligible to play again in March following the end of his ban, but he had not found a new club until now. There was speculation that he would join an MLS side after he moved to the United States but he has opted to return home.
Will he roll back the years at Monaco?
It is difficult to know what shape Pogba is in due to his inactivity over the past couple of seasons. During his last year with United and his first year back at Juventus, he had also spent a considerable amount of time on the treatment table with injuries.
For that reason, many believe that the midfielder will need a considerable amount of time to get up to speed. It has to be said that he isn’t getting any younger either. After turning 32 earlier this year, he may not have long left at the highest level but he will be keen to make up for lost time after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
