Insistence player needs to decide with family as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United wait in wings

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo needs to decide his future with his family, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all waiting in the wings for him.

That’s [according to ABC](https://www.abc.es/), who cover the Brazilian’s future today as he continues to be linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer.

The Premier League is particularly keeping an eye on him and Manchester United have recently been added to his suitors alongside Arsenal and Chelsea.

ABC say it would be a surprise if, by the end of the summer transfer window, the 24-year-old is a Real Madrid player. He does not appear to be in Xabi Alonso’s plans moving forwards, with Jude Bellingham, Vinicius and Kylian Mbappé ahead of him.

Real Madrid’s new manager is keen to avoid the issues of Carlo Ancelotti’s reign, with the Italian struggling to work out a team that got everyone in. The Spaniard also plans to use young players such as Arda Guler and new signing Franco Mastantuono, adding further competition for places.

The ball is in Rodrygo’s court. Madrid won’t invite him to leave but that’s more a case of avoiding devaluing him than anything else.

At the moment there are no offers on the table, but Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all in the wings and waiting.

The forward will sit down with his family and agent to discuss the situation, work out what he wants to do and think about where he’ll get the most playing time. The focus is on ensuring he is in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. As a result, a long summer awaits.
