Junior Firpo’s exit will surely be confirmed in a matter of days as Leeds United prepare for his departure.
After four seasons of ups and downs, the Dominican Republic international is ending his Leeds tenure on a high.
This was after it was confirmed over a week ago that Firpo will rejoin Real Betis, with the official announcement in waiting as Daniel Farke plans to move on.
Although a loss, the 49ers must move past the 28-year-old’s absence next campaign, and look for a replacement with left-back Lukas Ullrich being linked.
There are plenty of avenues the Whites can go down, but it seems as though Firpo is prepping for his move before an announcement has even been made.

Junior Firpo posts major Leeds United exit hint
The debate of him staying or leaving has been firmly put to bed; it’s just a matter of time before the announcement comes to fruition, as Firpo could join in any moment.
Of course, Firpo will no longer be a Leeds player in four days time with his deal officially expiring, which then might be a good time to make the statement.
It had been said previously that with the left-back making the move back to Spain that Alex Moreno could join Leeds due to Betis also targeting the Spaniard.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
Firpo seemed like Betis’ priority, and they’ve got their man, but Leeds fans will be intrigued to see that he will be reuniting with former midfielder Marc Roca.
Indeed, Firpo has now made this very clear, posting a picture on his Instagram story wearing an Espanyol shirt with ‘Marc Roca 21’ on the back.

Firpo might not be only Leeds player reuniting with Roca
As it is all but confirmed, Firpo is clearly more settled with his future after boldly posting this on his story.
Nevertheless, it will soon be a reality, and ever since Firpo’s phone call with Betis, it’s looked likely to happen.
But with Firpo and Roca crossing paths again, Mateo Joseph could complete the trio of former Whites players to play for the club at the same time.
This is ever since Betis demanded £6.75m for Joseph, as it’s very likely the young Spaniard could leave Elland Road, even after impressing in the U21 Euros.
It’s unknown whether Joseph is certain to join, but Firpo has definitely buried the hatchet with this post.
