Believe it or not, football is right around the corner. Before you know it, the leaves will be changing, RedZone will be blaring and you’ll be sweating over your WR3 minutes before kickoff. As always, one of the core questions heading into the 2025 NFL season is how about them Dallas Cowboys? Will be it another disappointing campaign for America’s Team or will Dak Prescott and the 'Boys finally break their long Super Bowl drought? If the early returns are any indication, it might just be the Cowboys' year.
Earlier this week, Dak Prescott teamed up with Cowboys backup QB Will Grier and his brother Tad in a golf match against another would-famous squad, Good Good Golf. With the sun going down and the match tied at five-under, the three-time Pro Bowler stepped over a 65-foot birdie putt, read the break like a two-high shell and threw up one heck of a hail mary. Check it out.
If you’re a Cowboys fan, this is exactly what you want to see. Prescott is looking healthy, focused and competitive AF heading into his 10th NFL season. His reaction to the putt—with nothing but bragging rights on the line—says it all: This man CRAVES winning, and with a new regime finding its feet in Dallas this season, that’s exactly the tone that needs to be set.
Of course, a nine-hole golf match against Good Good is a totally different animal than the NFC East. Training camp hasn’t even started yet, and a lot can still sideways, but if you’re a Cowboys fan, you take the wins where you can get ‘em these days.
