How the 2025 NBA Draft's top 10 picks ranked as basketball recruits

The first round of the 2025 NBA Draft is in the books. Regarded as one of the most talented lotteries in recent years, this year's top 10 featured eight former 247Sports five-star recruits alongside a pair of prospects who outplayed their recruiting rankings during the 2024-25 college basketball season.

Duke was the clear winner of the NBA Draft. Three Blue Devils went in the top 10, marking just the second time in history that three freshmen from the same school were chosen inside the first 10 picks, joining their own 2019 draft class (No. 1 Zion Williamson, No. 3 RJ Barrett, No. 10 Cam Reddish).

247Sports' top six recruits from the 2024 class secured spots in the top 10 of the NBA Draft. Former top-10 recruits Jalil Bethea (No. 7), Ian Jackson (No. 8) and Jayden Quaintance (No. 9) transferred programs this offseason, while Liam McNeeley (No. 10) went No. 29 overall to the Charlotte Hornets.
