Enjoy our daily round-up of today's stories involving West Ham United not covered elsewhere in KUMB's news section.

The Payet poll/s

Can it really be 10 years today since West Ham United signed the mercurial Dimitri Payet from Marseille for a smidgen over £10million? It surely is. And in order to mark this auspicious occasion, KUMB are running a poll to decide your favourite Payet goal during his brief, 18-month stint in east London.

Supporters may select from one of three absolute bangers - namely the spellbinding free kick against Crystal Palace at The Boleyn Ground, the long-range, dead ball FA Cup effort at Old Trafford (a goal which would've won the game had Bastien Schweinsteiger's cheating not been ignored by referee Martin Atkinson) and his mazy dribble against Middlesbrough at the LOS.

You may vote on any (or all, if you're so inclined) of our platforms via Twitter/X, Facebook or the KUMB Forum.

Tickets, please

West Ham United are seeking to hire a Ticket Office intern for a new role which has been created to support the Women's team. Described as "an exciting opportunity", the winning candidate will assist the Women’s Ticketing & Group Bookings Manager and is described as being "ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience within a Premier League Club".

While that might suggest the role would be considered voluntary, which would allow the club to avoid paying London-weighted minimum wage, only people with experience of working in a public facing role are invited to apply - with required - or "desirable" - experience to include previous experience of working in call centre or ticket office in "a sports-based environment".

Candidates should hold a minimum of five GCSE of Grade C or above while "strong IT skills" are also recommended. If you're still interested, you may apply via LinkedIn.

Welcome to the cheap seats

Fans wishing to take in West Ham's only home pre-season fixture this summer, against French side Lille on Saturday 9 August, can take advantage of some heavily-reduced rates for the London Olympic Stadium's executive lounges.

With prices for The Londoners suite starting at £29, right up to £79 for an afternoon in the Royal East (all inclusive of VAT), interested parties should contact the club's Ticket Office via clublondon@westhamunited.co.uk in order to seek further information in order to take advantage of these one-off reduced rates.

The match against Bruno Génésio's side, who finsihed fifth in Ligue 1 last season, is currently supporters' only chance to see the team on home soil before the 2025/26 Premier League campaign commences the following weekend (15-18 August).
