Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on the touchline
Arsenal's centre-back pairing could be one of the toughest positions to dislodge over the coming months, having seen Gabriel and William Saliba shine - but that hasn't stopped the Gunners remaining keen on adding another centre-back to their ranks, Fabrizio Romano has exclusively told GIVEMESPORT, with Valencia star Cristhian Mosquera firmly in their sights ahead of a potential move to north London.
The Gunners could spend up to £300million in the coming months, as sources revealed earlier in the year. £51million is set to be administered on Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, with a further £10million or so being put aside to bring Brentford star Christian Norgaard to the club as backup for the Spaniard, compatriot Mikel Merino, and midfield star Declan Rice.

Mosquera
However, there remains a lot in the pot to bring in more recruits to help Mikel Arteta take his team to a Premier League-winning standard, and that could see La Liga starlet Mosquera make the move to the English capital.

Romano has exclusively revealed to GIVEMESPORT that not only are talks ongoing with Mosquera's representatives and Valencia themselves - but they are the favourites to sign him over RB Leipzig and more, with sporting director Andrea Berta 'really interested' in the young Spaniard having missed out on Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid. He said:
Mosquera, born in Alicante, joined Valencia aged 12, and has since made 90 appearances for the Mestalla outfit.
Labelled as 'incredible', he could be a part of Arsenal's setup for some time to come if he makes the move, joining a Spanish contingent at the club that includes Arteta, Zubimendi, Merino and David Raya amongst other potential incomings.
