Manchester United’s summer rebuild under Ruben Amorim is focused on bringing in technically gifted, versatile players capable of thriving in a more fluid, possession-based system.
With key departures expected and questions hanging over the futures of various players such as Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, the club are targeting quality additions across multiple positions.
The goal is not just to fill gaps.
But to elevate the level of creativity and consistency that was lacking during the 2024/25 campaign.

The £62.5million arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolves already reflects that direction.
The Brazilian is seen as someone who can play across the frontline and adapt to Amorim’s tactical demands.
Eberechi Eze is another name high on United’s shortlist, and the Crystal Palace star fits the same mould.
The 26-year-old is admired for his ability to operate off the left or in a central playmaker role.
United aren’t the only club interested.
Tottenham Hotspur are also tracking Eze, having added him to their list of summer targets weeks ago as they look to bolster Thomas Frank’s attack.
Bayern Munich too, are in the mix, which could see Michael Olise reunite with his former teammate.
But now Arsenal have entered the race, according to talkSPORT’s report.

The Gunners are eyeing Eze as a potential alternative to Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, with the Palace man viewed as a more cost-effective option.
Eze’s release clause stands at £68million and runs until 2027.
Meaning any club keen to land him will have to activate it in full.
The England international ended last season with 16 goal contributions in the Premier League and scored the winner in the FA Cup final, helping Palace secure their first major trophy.
With three Euro 2024 appearances to his name and growing interest across Europe, Eze could be one of the most in-demand players of the window.
United may need to move quickly if they’re serious about bringing him to Old Trafford.
However, they stand a disadvantage due to the lack of Champions League football next season.
Not something Arsenal and Bayern Munich have to worry about when it comes to seducing players.
