Tim Weah was left out of the Juventus matchday squad for Thursday's FIFA Club World Cup game against Manchester City, increasing speculation he could be set to leave the club.
Reports this week stated Juventus and Nottingham Forest had reached a €22 million deal for both Weah and Samuel Mbangula, who was also left off the Juve matchday squad for the Group G finale in Orlando.
Though Weah reportedly is not keen on the move to Forest and prefers to stay with Juventus, his omission on Thursday could be a sign that he's set to leave the club regardless.
In fact, Gazzetta dello Sport reported that both Weah and Mbangula's exits were "imminent" following their omissions against City.
Weah posted a lengthy note on his Instagram story an hour before kickoff, which included the line "I may be tested but I won't be broken."

The U.S. men's national team winger then posted a picture taken from the stands at Camping World Stadium, with the caption in Italian: "Andiamo Ragazzi" (let's go guys).
Weah played 45 minutes off the bench in his club's 5-0 win over Al Ain to open the Club World Cup before he was an unused substitute in a 4-1 win over Wydad AC.
The 25-year-old scored a career-high six goals and added five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for the Italian club last season, his second with the team after joining from Lille in 2023.
