In return, the Nets will receive two future second-round picks, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

With this deal, the Suns now hold three picks in the 2025 NBA Draft—No. 36, No. 52, and No. 59. That gives them more flexibility to add young talent or package picks in future trades.

Phoenix is looking to add depth and build for the future following a disappointing 2024–25 campaign. The team finished 11th in the Western Conference and failed to reach the postseason.

The franchise has already made significant changes, most notably trading away superstar Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets earlier this offseason.
