Garett Bolles had a bunch of nice things to say about Broncos QB Bo Nix

Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles has seen a lot of quarterbacks come and go during his tenure with the team.

Bolles was the Broncos’ first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

And during his time anchoring Denver’s offensive line on the left side he’s played with the likes of Trevor Siemian, Paxton Lynch, Brock Osweiler, Case Keenum, Joe Flacco, Drew Lock, Brandon Allen, Jeff Driskel, Brett Rypien, Teddy Bridgewater, Russell Wilson and Jarrett Stidham.

That’s a long list, but one that should finally be more stable after Bo Nix is coming off a great rookie year. In a perfect world, Garett Bolles plays the rest of his career with the Broncos and Nix is the guy under center for every game.

Bolles taped an episode of The Insiders for NFL Network on Wednesday, and said a whole bunch of nice things about Nix. The episode will air at 5:00 p.m. MT, but NFL.com’s Nick Shook gave us insight into what Bolles had to say.

“Bo’s a tremendous football player,” Bolles said. “I’m so grateful I get to protect him and being his blindside protector, giving him all the time in the world. He’s a freak of nature. You look at the numbers that he put up last year, between him and (Jayden) Daniels, those were the two young quarterbacks in the league that’s gonna be very successful, and I have one of them behind me.”

Nix threw 29 touchdowns passes in 2024, which was sixth in the NFL. That’s impressive for any rookie, especially because Nix didn’t toss his first TD pass until Week 4 against the New York Jets.

“His demeanor, his composure, his work ethic, just always wanting to get better, his arm talent and just the way he sees it, he has swag, man, he really does,” Garett Bolles continued.

Now, Nix and the Broncos will look to build on a playoff appearance last season and perhaps go on a deep run in 2025. Bolles kept hyping up his QB.

“Coming to Denver and embracing his role and being the leader that he is, to lead our team down the field to score points, it spoke to us. We scored a lot of points last year and we’re ready to build off of what we did and continue to get better each and every day,” Bolles said.

These are great quotes from Garett Bolles, and quite frankly, football season can’t get here soon enough.

He’s ready, Nix is ready and Broncos Country is most definitely ready.
