Liverpool’s Harvey Davies secures loan to Crawley Town

Having signed a new contract with parent club Liverpool, third-choice goalkeeper Harvey Davies has agreed a season-long loan move to League Two side Crawley Town.

Davies has been with Liverpool since under-9 level, signing his first professional contract with the Merseyside club in 2021.

He has made over 40 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and Premier League 2, and spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, playing 32 times in all competitions.

He has also featured 11 times in the UEFA Youth League and earned two caps for England’s Under-20 side.

After his first day in Crawley, the 21-year-old said to the club’s media team: "I am really happy to be here. I had some great conversations with people at the club and they made me feel wanted and welcomed me in. I had a really good chat with the manager who presented really well to me and said that he wanted me, so it made the decision very easy."

Davies is Crawley’s fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Danny Cashman, Reece Brown and Harry McKirdy at the Broadfield Stadium.
