Lukas Nmecha was brought in to augment the attack that was the best in the Championship last season. Fans can stop complaining about Joel Piroe’s dry spells now; especially with reports that a second striker may arrive soon. Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic is getting closer to a move to England.

With two players added in two key areas, the midfield could be the next to see some additions. Leeds were in talks with Strasbourg over Habib Diarra, but the deal seems to have slowed down.
This has prompted the Whites to contact an alternative. According to Football Insider, Leeds United have contacted Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz over a move. It is believed that the Italian club are keen to offload the Brazilian’s wages this summer.
Mick Brown thinks Juventus being open to selling, and Leeds’ need for a midfielder could see a deal being made:
“Juventus want to get rid of Douglas Luiz,”
“He hasn’t made an impact there since leaving Villa, and from what I hear his agent has been speaking to a load of Premier League clubs to find him a move.
“…So Leeds may well be interested after speaking to his agent, but they have to know what they’re getting.
