Dillon Brooks Seeks Restraining Order Against His Baby Mama After She Threatened To Cut Off His Fingers

As Dillon Brooks deals with the complexities of being traded, he's also having to endure problems at home involving his former partner and the mother of his two kids, Heather Andrews. Brooks is allegedly trying to get a restraining order against her for what he claims are multiple instances of abuse.

"Brooks filed for the TRO [temporary restraining order] in Los Angeles on Wednesday, alleging Heather Andrews -- with who he shares a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old with -- has destroyed his belongings, hacked into his social media accounts, and even once threatened to cut off his fingers," reported TMZ this week. "Brooks said in his request that he met Andrews back in 2018 at a Las Vegas nightclub and started dating her a short time later. He said within months, she got pregnant with their first child and, around that time, he claimed her harassment of him began."

In the report, Brooks claims that she would emotionally abuse him constantly by flooding his phone with harmful messages and sharing their private conversations to make him look bad. At one point, she even threatened to have someone cut his fingers off one by one.

"I'll have [sic] someone cut each one of your f***ing little fingers off one by one," she told Brooks in a text message. "So you can never play basketball LOL... And actually, now I understand why people are racist."

Sadly, we see these kinds of cases all the time in professional sports. When someone gets close to an aspiring young athlete, the greed and temptation can often be overwhelming, leading them to try and manipulate their partner for a slice of the pie. Celebrity relationships in general are known to be somewhat toxic due to overwhelming pressure and a highly demanding lifestyle.

In the case of Dillon Brooks, he never thought he'd be one of those examples, but now he's caught up in a mess that's impossible to escape from. She's already done a lot of damage to his reputation and has gone personal by making threats to his mother and vandalizing his home with NSFW insults. It's a truly baffling situation for Brooks, and one has to wonder how he plans to deal with it, given that this woman is the mother of his kids.

For someone who plays with such fearless determination on the court, it's hard to imagine Dillon Brooks as a victim, but it seems that's the only way to describe his ongoing crisis at home. While he may be famous for bullying his opponents in the game, he's being bullied by one of his own at home, and it's causing some major problems for his life and career.

The good news is that, as a member of the Phoenix Suns, Brooks can start fresh once again and focus on adapting to his new situation. If he can take out his anger on the court and let his game do all the talking, then it's a recipe for success that could set his career on an upward trajectory. For now, he just needs to focus on getting his situation at home under control so he can start the 2025-26 season without any distractions.
