The Pistons missed out on the first round of the draft last night, due to previous trades that gave the pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, they will make their first selection with the 37th overall pick in the draft tonight.
Detroit certainly made a comeback this season. After finishing dead last in the Eastern Conference with a 14-68 record in the 2023-24 season, the Pistons turned things around in the 2024-25 season, finishing sixth overall in the conference and advancing to the playoffs for the first time since 2019.
