MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - After trading up to select Cedric Coward in the first round, the Grizzlies own two picks in the second round Thursday night.
On a night where nearly every team elected to trade their pick, the Grizzlies kept their 48th pick and selected Javon Small, a guard from West Virginia.

Small in his senior year averaged 18.6 points, 4.1 rebounds. and 5.6 assists on 42% shooting from the field.
Small scored at least 20 points in 14 games and carries experience playing for West Virginia as well as East Carolina, and Oklahoma State.
The Grizzlies currently own pick No. 57 in the draft tonight as well.
In other news, former Evangelical Christian School Star Kam Jones, who just finished his NCAA career with Marquette, was drafted with the 39th pick by the San Antonio Spurs.
