Ravens' Kyle Hamilton Named to Prestigious List

It took just two seasons for the Baltimore Ravens to figure out how valuable their first-round pick in 2022 was.

As the No. 14 overall selection in that draft, Notre Dame's Kyle Hamilton started just four games out of 16 appearances. He tallied 62 total tackles with 46 solo and four for loss. He added four QB hits and a forced fumble.

That caught the attention of the coaching staff.

In 2023, the former Fighting Irish defender started 15 games in 15 appearances and upped his production.

Entering 2025, he's just 24 years old and has two Pro Bowls under his belt, as well as a First Team All-Pro and a Second-Team All-Pro.

That's why Hamilton appeared on CBS Sports' list of the top 25 players under the age of 25.

"It's almost unbelievable now that Hamilton started just four games as a rookie, because the last two seasons, he's been all over the ball at every level of the field for the Ravens," Cody Benjamin wrote. "Need a timely sack? He can do it. Need a critical pass breakup? He's there. The Notre Dame product all but sets the standard for do-it-all safety play."

Hamilton's totals through three seasons are impressive, too.

He's totaled 250 tackles with 186 solo and 18 for loss and added seven sacks, 15 QB hits and five interceptions.

Hamilton is an anchor in the Ravens' secondary, and, at the age of just 24, could stay there for a while.
