Manchester City sealed top spot in Group G of the Club World Cup with a comprehensive 5-2 win over Juventus at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

City knew they had to beat the Italian giants to secure top spot and they did so in some style to ensure they ended the group stage with a perfect record of three wins from three games - the only team to do so in the competition.

Goals from Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Savinho, as well as a Pierre Kalulu own goal, rendered goals from Teun Koopmeiners and Dusan Vlahovic a mere consolation.

Pep Guardiola's side will now remain in Orlando for their last 16 clash and as we move towards the business end of the tournament, here is a look at the current City injury situation.

Claudio Echeverri

Injury: Ankle

Echeverri scored his first goal for City with an excellent free-kick in the 6-0 win over Al-Ain. However, he picked up an injury to his ankle and manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed he will likely miss the rest of the competition.

"Problems in the ankle, two or three weeks out unfortunately," Guardiola said.

"I feel so sorry for him. We will play new players and in the next game too and in the second half. In these conditions, we are not ready to play 90 minutes and at half-time, we will make substitutions.”

Return date: Wolves (a) Saturday, August 16

Rico Lewis

Injury: Suspension

Lewis picked up a straight red card in City's opening game win over Wydad AC for a dangerous challenge.

Having been given an initial one match ban, it was extended to three matches after a review. It means the England international defender won't be available for selection until the quarter-finals if City win through their last 16 tie.

Return date: Inter Milan or Fluminense (N) - Friday, July 4

Mateo Kovacic

Injury: Achilles

Kovacic has undergone surgery on an Achilles injury and will miss the entirety of the Club World Cup and a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Speaking before the Club World Cup, Guardiola said: "He had an injury and missed the cup final. He thought rest would help, but it didn't. Pain and swelling appeared concerning the heel tendon."
