‘Pacers Beat Bucks Again’ – Marquette Golden Eagles Star Kam Jones Lands With 2025 NBA Finalist …

Kam Jones of the Marquette Golden Eagles is regarded for his playmaking ability, something he improved in his last season in college. Those are the skills that both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers would need in the coming season and apparently, the latter have better decision makers in the front office.

The Bucks won’t have Damian Lillard while the Pacers will be without Tyrese Haliburton. Both point guards went down with an ACL injury in the playoffs and will be out by as much as 10 months, which is the standard recover period for such injury.

The two met two straight times in the playoffs and Indiana bested the Wisconsin team twice. Recently, a revelation was made about how Pacers’ 2022 second round pick and formidable guard Andrew Nembhard almost went to the Bucks but the team cancelled on him.

Jones would have been a great pick up for the Bucks not only because of his skills but also because of the fact that he played for a Wisconsin-based program.

Kam Jones selection celebrated

Bucks just can’t get one against their rivals. People thought the Packers got a good one again.

Kam Jones took on the role of full time PG this year and didn’t skip a beat recording the first triple-double in Marquette history while posting career highs in assists with no dip in scoring numbers. A true slasher, the lefty could instantly find a place in the Pacers rotation. pic.twitter.com/ztPOA4Nd3n

Pacers fans would love to see him work with Nembhard.

Excited to watch Kam Jones at Summer League. The Pacers rarely play without multiple ball-handlers on the floor, which becomes more important w/o Haliburton (obviously), but also to maintain Nembhard’s effectiveness on defense.

Jones was the undisputed star of Marquette last season. He averaged 19.2 points per game on 48.3% shooting from from the field.
